Overview of COP

• 'Although on the surface the nature of design may appear to be relatively inconsequential, it might well be said to play a formative role in the history of capitalism and, in turn, in the social expression of capitalist practices.'

This quote looks into capitalism and consumerism and how design aids these practices such as branding, ad campaigns and logos. Through the 3 studio briefs I will analyse this quote to see for myself how true and relevant this quote is.
